Reviews

Double chocolate

"Honestly I don’t know why they decided to add pork gelatin to their otherwise vegetarian bars. It makes the texture unnecessarily chewy (compared to their gold bars) and the taste is just awful. First time in my life I’ve been turned off by anything double chocolate."

Fahd (1/5)

The texture and taste have changed significantly

"I've bought these protein bars and liked them a lot before, but this latest batch is completely different from the previous ones. The taste is much worse, and the texture is terrible, it's chewy and rubbery. The quality seems very inconsistent, which is really disappointing because these used to be my go-to protein bars. Unless they go back to their previous recipe or quality, I won't be buying this again."

Ash (1/5)

Bronze bars that taste golden

"While the Gold bars are by no means terrible, the Bronze bars genuinely surprised me with just how much better they tasted. The chocolate tastes like. . . actual chocolate. The 8g difference in protein with the Gold bars is not trivial, but the Bronze bars may be the first protein bars that I've looked forward to eating as much as I do any empty-calorie candy bar. They make me feel like I'm cheating on my diet in the best way possible. Apart from the lower protein content, the only downside I see is that it will not be easy to go back to the Gold bars once I've finished these. Highly recommended, especially for those who are looking for something more accessible than the Gold bars."

Brian (5/5)

Horrible

"Unpleasant taste and texture. Really thought that this new product would be better than the originals but seems to be just the fancy wrapper that catches the eye."

Jonathan (1/5)

Unhappy

"You keep calling this Double Chocolate. It is Double Chocolate Crunch. I like your products. I do not like the crunch products. Don't care for the chewy center and they crumble all over the place. I'll read more carefully next time"

Customer (2/5)

Excellent source of protein!!!!

"Light, delicious, and not too sweet—yet surprisingly filling. It satisfies my cravings without leaving me feeling guilty afterward. I love it! It’s also incredibly convenient to take on trips or enjoy as a quick snack. Highly recommend!"

May (5/5)

"I love these bars! They are so good and you can’t tell that they are sugar free!"

Amy (5/5)

Soft protein bars

"These bars are soft they are larger and more satisfying than the built puff bars, but are very similar. They are a good alternative if you like a softer chew texture."

Heidi (4/5)

Awesomeness!

"Tastes awesome! Price is good, fast shipping. I love all the different flavors, but this is my fave!"

Hope (5/5)

Filling inside not the same

"Hi, I ordered this again to try out another batch. The first time I ordered the filling inside was really soft and great. Now it's either changed to more chewy from what I understand from previous email. But the soft filling that these started with was perfect and got me started on these. If you'll can bring that kind of texture back, it would be awesome."
