Marshmallow consitency

"The higher protein (28 gm) bars, IMO, were much better (liked the firmer texture). The Cookie dough variety (20 gm protein) had a softer texture I didn't care for. . . reminded me of a type of marshmallow candy. Taste was ok, but texture not."

Stephen (1/5)

"Cookie Dough is delicious! It doesn’t fill you up so not sure it can be used for anything but to satisfy your sweet tooth craving or if you need to meet a protein goal. The downside is that ths “chocolate” coating crumbles away from the marshmallow base and makes a delightful MESS! So eat over a napkin to protect clothing. Dont eat while driving."

Avery (4/5)

Initially they were good, but

"Initially they were good, but now they feel and taste old — like they’ve been sitting in storage for two years. On top of that, the quality control seems very low regardless of the explanation given. You shouldn’t be selling them if you know they’re not top quality (LUMPS OF MODIFIED FAT, INGREDIENT ARE VERY DRY AND SOMEWHAT CHEWEY, CARAMEL LOOKS CRACKED PEANUTS) just too many issues to give them a good review."

Tony T. (1/5)

Not my favorite

"I know this bar will appeal to others, but I find it too chewy and sweet, too much like a candy bar full of artificial stuff! I will stick with the traditional David bars, which I love."

Jennifer (2/5)

So good!

"These are the best tasting bars I’ve had so far! We’ve had the peanut butter, chocolate chip and these caramel ones and I love these the best!"

Kristina (5/5)

Recent order

"I am very disappointed with my last order of David protein bars. When I opened this package the bar fell apart. The top of the bar was completely off. I thought it may have been just this one bar, but it was the same with the other bars. Is the product stale?"

Joann L. (1/5)

Delicious

"These bars are great. Not like other bars that didn't taste as good as they look and leave an after taste. These deliver on taste and looks. Not too sweet, just right. Could use a little more crunch but other than that they are the best I've ever had in protein bars."

Chris M. (5/5)

Texture better with gold

"Love the gold wrapper varieties…didn’t think twice about ordering a box of bronze product. Texture completely different . . recommend trying first."

Ronda S. (4/5)

Not a fan

"The bar feels stale. The chocolate coating and caramel layer break off in little pieces when you take a bite and the cookie dough center has the texture of stale marshmellows. Won't be ordering this flavor again."

Deborah R. (3/5)

Hmmmmm

"When these first came out they had a nougat-like texture. Now they’re really chewy, and the chocolate coating breaks all over."
