More protein,

less calories.

75% of David's calories come from protein.
This is ~50% higher than any other bar.

David’s dollar to protein ratio is groundbreaking.

More protein for your buck.

Inside every crunchy and creamy bite are four systems.

We tried and tested everyone else's protein bars, then created something with way better benefits.

Inside every crunchy and creamy bite are four systems.

We tried and tested everyone else's protein bars, then created something with way better benefits.

  • Protein System

David has 28g of protein and only 150 calories. This is 75% CFP (CFP = Calories from Protein / Total Calories). The most protein-dense bar in existence. A diversity of protein sources comes together for a perfect 1.0 protein digestibility-corrected amino acid score (PDCAAS), meaning this protein is the best amino acid profile for both muscle building and optimal bodily functioning (including skin, hair, and nail health).

  • Binding System

These ingredients bind the bar together. Without these, the bar would just be protein powder.

    • Allulose provides binding as well as sweetness. Unlike sugar, allulose is actually a prebiotic and shown to decrease blood sugar spikes when eaten with other carbohydrates.
    • Polydextrose is also a prebiotic fiber that promotes a healthy microbiome.
    • Glycerin, Tapioca Starch, and Soy Lecithin are used in smaller quantities to help the bar stay soft and moist over time.
  • Flavor System

The David Flavor System uses no artificial sweeteners and no artificial flavors. Key components of the flavor system are cocoa powder, natural flavors, stevia, monk fruit extract, and salt.

  • Fat System

The goal of David is to create the highest CFP bar possible (CFP = Calories from Protein / Total Calories), meaning the most protein with the fewest calories. Fat contains 9 calories per gram compared to 4 calories per gram for both protein and carbohydrates. This makes it essential to reduce fat calories in order to craft the best product possible. In addition to coconut oil, cocoa butter, and palm oil, David uses a modified plant to help achieve the texture of fat with fewer calories.

Your questions, answered.

  • Why protein?

Protein intake is the foundational of nutrition for 3 key reasons:

    • to increase or maintain muscle and lean mass for optimal functioning now and to avoid injury or weakness as you age.
    • to properly regulate caloric intake, thus helping to avoid excess body fat and manage metabolic health.
    • to support essential bodily functions as protein pays a key role in healthy bones, muscles, skin, hair, nails, and joints.
  • How does protein help my body?

Proteins are made up of amino acids, which are often referred to as the "building blocks" of life. Your body uses these amino acids to build and repair tissues. They are vital for the growth, maintenance, and repair of muscles, bones, skin, and other tissues.

  • How should David be stored?

David can be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight up until its Best By date.

To maintain optimal flavor and texture, you can store David in the fridge or in the freezer.

When storing David in the fridge or freezer, we recommend allowing your bars to return to room temperature for a softer texture when eating, though some consumer enjoy their bars most when eaten cold (and some enjoy their bars most when they warm them for 10 seconds in the microwave).
