Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., is a tenured professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology and, by courtesy, of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University School of
Medicine. His research focuses on brain development, visual perception, stress resilience and neural plasticity.
He earned his Ph.D. from UC Davis and has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles in top scientific journals, including Nature, Science and Cell.
Dr. Huberman has received numerous awards, including the Cogan Award and the McKnight Scholar Award.In 2021, he launched the Huberman Lab podcast, the world's most popular health and science podcast, translating neuroscience into actionable protocols for optimizing health and performance. He is the author of the upcoming book, Protocols: An Operating Manual for the Human Body.
